Lands' End, lunch and the elegant Kendall Farr!

Summer Friday's are what we live for in Chicago. That and a good cocktail alfresco. Last Friday I got my first taste of a summer by accepting a lovely invitation from Alison and Lands' End to learn more about their new swimwear trends. An intimate lunch with smart, savvy women is not only inspiring but motivating. I had the rare opportunity to chat with fellow author, tastemaker and fashion stylist, Kendall Farr. My fellow attendee, April, and I had the opportunity to ask all our burning questions as they relate to fashion and receive Kendall's style advice on trends, the classics and what works for the real woman's body. It was enlightening to say the least!

What impressed me the most is how much Lands' End has truly been listening to their female clientele. In other words, they've upped their game! Touring six different cities, they've offered professional swimsuit fittings, style sessions and more. It's called the #GetawayTour! Here's just a sampling of some of the amazing inventory they've armed us ladies with for the summer...

Good because Lands' End has thought of everything! Tummy control? Check! Ruching details? Check! Symmetry and minimizing? Check! Swimsuit shopping needn't become a dreaded task sny longer. Shoot, they even though of waterproof accessories so that you don't have to sacrifice style for function!
