Beauty 411: February Beauty Box Five

I'm playing catch up with my beauty products but fear not...February was ultra girly and fun. If last month's Beauty Box Five was an early indication of Spring; we're in for some fun color palettes and innovative beauty technology. Pull up a chair and grab a cup of coffee - I'll give you the skinny on each of these products.

  1. Every Beauty Remover Pads: A completely different type of makeup remover pad than I am used to. Textured, cotton pads that you moisten upon use. Eco-friendly, 100% natural and chemical free leaving my face with a fresh scent. No scrubbing or harsh drying effects. I was very surprised that it removed my makeup so well when I've struggled with other drugstore brands.
  2. John Frieda Luxurious Volume Shampoo and Conditioner: I've always been a fan of John Frieda haircare. Budget-friendly and lightweight, I'll be packing these for my next overnight making my toiletry bag that much more compact. Great for everyday use, too!
  3. Elizabeth Mott "It's So Big" Volumizing Mascara: My favorite of the bunch! Talk about technology breakthrough. This mascara builds upon each lash with every layer forming long, volumizing tubes. The look is full, luxurious lashes. The best part? When you cleanse your face, the tubes roll off your lashes vs. smearing all over your eyes. The cleanest mascara to wash away I've ever encountered. I'll be buying the full size, stat!
  4. Rockstar Nails Lacquer: Since orchid is the new black of 2014, both my daughters and I were pretty excited to try out this design kit. The nail lacquer alone is a stand out, Spring color which brought smiles to our faces every time we looked down.
  5. Rockstar Nails Sprinkles: This is where the fun begins. It's like a cupcake for your nails. Little orchid granules are painted over the lacquer creating a textured look just like your favorite cupcake. Consider it DIY nail art that will hide any sign of wear and tear.
Next up, March! Could be my favorite box to date! Be sure to follow Beauty Box Five on Facebook and Twitter, too.
