Holiday DIY: red velvet cake in a jar

The holidays give me great reason to pause. Pausing for my family. Taking time off of work. And creating something from the heart. I will vouch that I am not a great DIY'er however I take satisfaction in creating simple pleasures that yield great results. Like cake!
And, I have to give credit where it's due. My cake in a jar inspo came from here. I tried to put a holiday spin on it with metallic ribbons and flatware. I'm so excited to gift these to Olivia's teachers, the mailman, my hair stylist, etc. It's a small gesture with a delicious impact and that's what it's all about, right?
