I've got summer fever! It spread like a rash when Chicago hit 82 and there's no turning back. And allllllll I want to do is shop shop shop! You're shocked, I know. Here are 5 picks at the top of my list this week:

  1. Do you guys know about Simmi Shoes? If you don't, you should. Those khaki green heels are just $42! I could buy 10 different pairs right now!
  2. I always keep an arsenal of fun tees for Summer. This eyelash tee is calling my name.
  3. I scooped up the cutest pineapple clutch whilst in Hilton Head @ Francescas. They have such fun brights for summer. Check this one out!
  4. There's something so sexy about this Starburst pink hi/lo skirt. All it needs is a date night!
  5. Zara has fabulous tops for summer and this striped, poplin version is just $30! What are you waiting for?

Despite an incredibly tumultuous two years in pandemic world, I think this year’s holiday festivities will be quite the cause for celebration. We inherited my parents French, dining room table when we bought the house and it’s one of my favorite pieces. The natural wood and curvature fit perfectly into our formal dining room despite being over 20 years old. They don’t make furniture like this any longer. Along with it, we inherited the formal dining chairs which we repaired and reupholstered as well.

Quickie post today as I spent the weekend literally spending all my money on May holidays and birthdays. May is pure insanity for us every year. It’s the fastest month that usually leaves me feel like I have whiplash come June 1.
