My Monthly Beauty Routine.
Ain’t no shame in the game. Yes, I get Botox and no, I am not embarrassed by it. This question and more has led me to FINALLY draft a post on the top destinations that I give by business to when it comes to beauty and self care. And, you should know that I am a loyalist. Once we have our trial and all is well, you’ll have me for life so please know that these are not paid sponsorships but rather the REAL DEAL!
Color and Cuts: Art of Alchemy Salon in Chicago || Instagram: @artofalchemysalon - I go to Lindsey for cuts and Victor for color and I love them dearly!
Wax: Renu Spa in Deerfield - I only go to Anya for both my Brazilian and brows. TMI? Dear lord that woman is a saint.
Nails: Anthony Vince Nail Spa in Glenview || Instagram: @avnailspa - You won’t get out of here quick but they do tremendous nail art for suburbia.
Skin Treatments: Yates Hair and Med Spa in Chicago || Instagram: @yateshairandmedspa - To include hydra facials, enzyme peels, laser hair removal, etc. Ask for Nikelle. She’s the best!
Botox: Lanie <all over; she travels> || Instagram: @botoxrn - Message me if you want her info because she’s not a huge social media lover but I trust her with my life.
Fitness: SALT Fitness in Glenview || Instagram: @saltfitnesschicago - You’d have to be living under a rock not to know that I am a SALT addict. It’s also changed my glutes for the better!
Lashes: Every 3 months or so I purchase a new Rodan + Fields Lashboost. No falsies on this girl. - Message me if you need a rep!
Spray Tans: My girl Dana comes to my house but her IG account is private and this is her side hustle. Message me if you need her info!
Still on the hunt for a great microblading referral but this is also not a monthly treatment either. I’ve heard amazing things about Evertru Salon. I wish I could find someone closer to home but such is life.

Do blondes really have more fun?
Maintaining this ashe-y blonde hue is an absolutely commitment. If you’re going to pursue this shade of blonde, you have to know what you’re signing up for. It’s been several years and lotsa dollars for me but I absolutely love it.
