Beauty 411: A Brand New Skincare Routine
I've always had a good skincare routine. Cleanse in my morning shower followed up by a toner, moisturizer and eye cream. Standard but I felt it was better than the alternative and I very rarely went to bed with makeup on. The same routine ensued in the evenings with a weekly addition being a gommage or facial scrub to slough off dead cells.
Product loyalty is where I fail. As a worker bee turned mom...balance is not something I'm good at. I usually realize I am out of a product the minute before application leaving me scrambling to my local drugstore for a replacement. Think lots of harsh chemicals with empty promises. And lots of dry skin.
Fast forward to earlier this month when I joined forces with Reset Medspa. A unique collaboration presented itself and I jumped because let's face it...I'm not getting any younger. I had one promise to fulfill: ditch my old skincare routine and use every single product they gave me religiously followed by biweekly treatments. (more on that later).
The results...different skin. Softened fine lines, hydrated skin and I mean hydrated!, and a brightened complexion thanks to the science behind Skin Medica and Revision Skincare. Here's the new breakdown and why I love these products despite their hefty price tags.
Skin Medica Facial Cleanser: No matter how oily my skin or how much eye make up I have on...a nickel size dollop removes everything without any harsh scrubbing. It's amazing and gentle.
Revision Brightening Facial Wash: I was instructed to use this toner twice a week only. It has a gel like consistency and is extraordinarily gentle on the skin. Not at all like the alcohol based ones I was accustomed to.
Skin Medica TNS Recovery Complex: This serum does not have a pleasant smell so I'm warning you. A pearl size drop covers your entire face and soaks in immediately. It almost has a tacky texture to it.
Skin Medica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator: This moisturizer is unbelievable. My skin transforms immediately. It's ultra light and disappears instantly. Boosting collagen regrowth...lines literally disappear.
Skin Medica Rejuvenative Moisturizer: The thickest of the bunch. I slather on my entire face and neck. Again a pearl size drop covers all. I'm told that the small applications of these products actually push your ROI the distance allowing you to extend your dollar for at least six months before you have to purchase again. Amazing and so worth the price tag!
Revision Eye Cream: Less than a pearl size drop needed. It's incredibly thick and covers your under eye as well as the brow bone. I would say it's more emollient so you feel like you have eye cream on but that's not necessarily a bad thing.
One final note, my makeup glides on better than ever since changing things up. And nothing settles in my lines. Double bonus. More reviews to come! Shop the entire skincare line below + send any questions my way!

Do blondes really have more fun?
Maintaining this ashe-y blonde hue is an absolutely commitment. If you’re going to pursue this shade of blonde, you have to know what you’re signing up for. It’s been several years and lotsa dollars for me but I absolutely love it.
