Lasers + Blazers

I kinda view this outfit as a fashion mullet. It's business on the top and a party on the bottom. In other words, the title of this post has nothing to do with the content. As a matter of fact, my husband came up with it because I have extreme writer's block and it's 10 o'clock at night. One word: exhaustion

Eureka Marika.

Imma gonna shoot you straight. I don't look forward to working out. It's hard. It takes an entire internal conversation to force myself into sneakers. Like all of us, when I'm done - I feel fantastic! Before kids I ran 45 minutes daily intermixed with biweekly pilates sessions. Diapers took over my life and I found myself craving that "me" time. That one hour of head-clearing, Jay-Z jamming, heaving sweating, heart pounding, body rockin' toning that only a run outside can offer.

Coffee run.

I'd be a fool not to take a couple blog-related photos on vaca. Let's face it, my backyard does not compare to the quaint streets of downtown Napa. My loyal photog, aka my husband, quietly obliged to taking a few snaps in exchange for coffee. Not a problem in my books. I wake up for the mere aroma of coffee...but we know this.

LWD, a summer glow + a giveaway!

I shared some of my favorite LWD's here. And while I love the look of a boho LW-sundress, I was really craving something more structured and classic for work. This one fit the bill with its subtle pleats and meeting-friendly length. My best accessory? A bronzy, summer glow...not too orange and no splotches, please and thank you.
