How to pack for a getaway!

My husband and I have less than a month until we return back to Napa for our anniversary trip. We're extremely excited as wine country holds so many memories including our actual wedding four years ago. 

This got me thinking...what am I going to pack in my weekender? We are vacationing for a week which, in my books, does not warrant a suitcase. And having been the lucky winner of lost luggage in South America three years ago - I've learned the difficult lesson of what being unprepared can do to you and your vacation plans. womp. womp.

Fear not! I am sharing the contents of my weekend travel bag so you, too can circumvent the baggage claims office and make do until you locate the nearest shopping strip. Or at least until United Airlines retrieves your bag on the sixth day of your seven day trip. Wait, what? 

You can spritz, conceal and moisturize that gawgeous complexion. I've packed you a swim suit, cover up, flats, heels and a scarf for chilly nights. Don't forget the all-in-one blush balm, wipes and bobby pins to get you by until you hit the hotel shower. And last but not least, I've packed you a pretty slip dress for your fancy dinner.

Come morning...strap on those sandals and get your shop on, girl!
