The Money Pit Series: the foyer hallway

Remember my very vanilla hallway? We repainted and stained the stairs last summer.

Current:

We went with this color. It took six tries and several hundred dollars to figure out the gray that would suit this somewhat dark hallway. But hey, practice makes perfect. Those jokers at Sherwin Williams are laughing us all the way to the bank. 

Our contractors repainted all the trim and doors a bright white to match the kitchen, too. It's clean and airy. Just how I like it before my toddler rams her wooden carriage into the freshly painted walls!
