White Out

It's officially white denim season. And truth be told, I started wearing mine in March but the old rule is only after Memorial Day through Labor Day. I think some of the mass retailers still apply this principle because I noticed Old Navy had huge displays of white denim last week.

I'll let you in on a little secret. I haven't bought designer denim since '08. It's not that I don't appreciate the fit and stretch of a good $180 pair...the truth is, my body has gone through a lot of changes in the last two years. It doesn't make sense for me to spend a lot on denim. And when it comes to white denim; I definitely do not spend a lot! I now have sticky hands and dog slobber on constant rotation.

Ironically, I've been getting a ton of compliments on the two pair that I own. There are a gazillion ways you can style them which is fun. Kinda like a personal style challenge each week. I recently purchased this pair last week. The fit is awesome. They're super soft and the distressed look is great for a more casual look.

My other go-to pair are these guys. I wear them constantly. They are extremely comfortable and mask my need for comfort when paired with a pretty blouse.
