Five Winter Steals & Splurges: meet Molliee of Twirly Skirts

Molliee is the type of Cali girl that makes getting ready in the morning look effortless. You know the type...she's incredibly down-to-earth and a striking beauty with tresses that would make any fashionista jealous. Stumbling on her blog was the best surprise I had last November and I've been a fan ever since. I think you will be, too. Here's Molliee!

With the start of the new year, I have been going crazy with updates for our home. As most of us do, usually I try to find the best possible deals for home decor, but for key items that are too good to pass up, I don't! Here are some things that I have recently added (or am seriously considering adding) to our modern style apartment. 

SPLURGE! I recently received a dress form for a blogger challenge, but I was this close to snagging this one.

STEAL! After seeing this tip on Pinterest I spray painted a bag of coffee beans and placed them in a clear vase.

SPLURGE! I think a great accent piece for your kitchen does wonders. Since our apartment is modern and bold, I had to have this Alessi fruit bowl.

STEAL! A bar cart is another item that I just have to have. Check out this $90 mod version. For a bar cart, that's a steal! 

SPLURGE! If I didn't already have chevron curtains, I would definitely splurge on this chevron rug. So fab!
