Mommy Morsels
Kara and I met virtually through blog comments and I am so happy we did! As a mom of 2 toddlers, I could glean quite a bit from this fancy lady. Not to mention, she is warm and genuine - another reminder of why Blogger has been such a great outlet for me -- meeting cool people! Without further adieu, please meet Kara of A Little Bit of Lovely. She's my new favorite multi-tasking mama!

These hampers by The Land of Nod are sturdy, good-looking, and come in a wide array of colors. I like them for holding dirty clothes, but I also use one for containing the many balls we own. I think they are so cute and could also function as playroom storage for dolls, stuffed animals, large trucks, etc.
Thanks for the words of wisdom, Kara. You make it all look so easy! xo
Hi lovelies! I'm Kara from A Little Bit of Lovely and I am so happy to be here today. I fell hard and fast for Johanna's blog and are thrilled to be a part of her Mommy Morsels series. I am mom to 2 toddler boys, Cole (age 3) and Connor (almost 2). Here are just a few of my favorite finds for navigating life with toddlers.

I have been so impressed with the products by Prince Lionheart. I have 2 of the boosterPOD seats and they are fabulous. They are comfy and wipe clean easily. I'm also a fan of the weePOD for toilet training. After my oldest son was potty trained using a portable potty, we bought this seat to fit on top of our regular toilet seat. The transition has been fantastic, and he feels secure and comfortable while learning to potty on the "big" toilet.

Once the "I'm afraid of the dark" stage hits, the hunt for finding the perfect nightlight begins. My oldest had a terrible time worrying about all the shadows that regular nightlights produced. I tried a ton of nightlights, before finding the constellation nightlight by cloud b. Not only can my wee one cuddle with the turtle, but he loves how his ceiling and walls are lit up with tiny little stars. (They sell a lady bug constellation nightlight as well.)

I bought this Williams and Sonoma yogurt maker after it was recommended to me by my mom. Homemade yogurt is actually quite easy to make - and it is fresh, healthy, and tastes great. I like this particular yogurt maker because you can make anything from Greek styled yogurt to fruit-flavored yogurt. The machine shuts off automatically too, which is a major plus for us busy moms!

I was given the cookbook, Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld, as a gift and I now own her second
cookbook as well. The first one is my favorite though. Her cookbook offers yummy recipes that incorporate vegetables and healthy substitutions. I'm all about getting veggies into my kids, which can be difficult at times, so I highly recommend this book!
