Hello everyone! This is Meagan from Mo Pie, Please, a blog about anything and everything I love. I'm so flattered that Johanna asked me to guest post for her while she is enjoying her new role as mommy! Congrats, Johanna!
Today's post is all about summer trends - the things I am lusting after to sport all summer long. This summer is going to be big for me. My husband and I just bought a house in Louisville, KY, so we're up and leaving our Chicago life for one that's a little slower-paced and more family-oriented. So the first half of my summer will be spent preparing for the move, while the second half will be spent unpacking and getting adjusted to our new lives. Not to mention we have our first wedding anniversary at the beginning of August! So while I may not be frolicking on a sandy beach, I can still prance around the town in cute dresses and sandals, right?
Here are some things my heart is after ::
I am loving bright colored dresses, color-blocked things and lots of floral prints! I also can't seem to get enough of polka-dotted swimsuits, coral lipstick and the perfect denim shorts. Bright and fun sandals always make for a good summer and that sun hat is my latest purchase! My face will thank me, plus it's the only hat that I've tried on that flatters my head/face/body! Score!
