A couple weekends ago I made soft pretzels for the first time. And while they kinda look like pretzel blobs, hear me out...they were just as tasty as Aunt Annie's! I bought the mix at William Sonoma. I felt like I mastered the pretzel shape pre-oven but then they blew up to be blobs after baking. I think next time I will make the pieces thinner so that they actually resemble what are intended to look like. Either way, I cut off a sliver and gave the rest away to my brother, dad's work, etc. They were so yummy that I couldn't have them in the house. Moderation, right?!
